IRVING, Texas – ExxonMobil and PETRONAS, the state-owned energy company of Malaysia, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to collaborate and jointly explore potential carbon capture and storage projects in Malaysia.

ExxonMobil to invest in petrochemical complex in China
IRVING, Texas – ExxonMobil has made a final investment decision to proceed with a multi-billion dollar chemical complex in the Dayawan Petrochemical Industrial Park in Huizhou, Guangdong Province in China. The facility will help meet expected demand growth for performance chemical products in China.

ExxonMobil and Pertamina to evaluate carbon capture and storage in Indonesia
IRVING, Texas – ExxonMobil and Pertamina, the state-owned energy company for Indonesia, today signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to evaluate the potential for large-scale deployment of low-carbon technologies in Indonesia. The MoU was signed near Glasgow, Scotland, where world leaders have gathered to discuss climate policies during COP 26.

ExxonMobil earns $6.8 billion in third quarter 2021
IRVING, Texas – October 29, 2021 – Exxon Mobil Corporation today announced estimated third-quarter 2021 earnings of $6.8 billion, or $1.57 per share assuming dilution. Third-quarter capital and exploration expenditures were $3.9 billion, bringing year-to-date 2021 investments to $10.8 billion, as the company continued strategic investments in its advantaged assets, including Guyana, Permian Basin, and in Chemical.
